The TechniShow 2024 trade fair is just around the corner, scheduled for 12 to 15 March at the Koninklijke Jaarbeurs. This event promises to be a showcase for groundbreaking solutions and partnerships under the theme ‘The Manufacturing Industry of Tomorrow’. More than a hundred exhibitors will present their innovations, new technologies and solutions, with special attention to Additive Manufacturing. The event takes place alongside the ESEF Maakindustrie trade fair.
Notable innovations within the Additive Manufacturing theme include:
- The 3D metal printer from One Click Metal, focused on ease of use and affordable investment for SME manufacturers.
- The latest Tempus technology for the RenAM 500 laser powder bed AM machine, which halves printing time.
- At TechniShow 2024, Makerpoint will demonstrate how SLS is applied with the Formlabs Fuse 1, enabling machine builders to print functional parts and shorten their supply chain. They will also introduce an FDM printer for Ultem, PEKK, PEEK and other plastics.
- Leering will present inspiring post-processing of 3D-printed parts, for both metal and plastic.
- Multi-3D Print supplies, among other things, the Intamsys industrial high-temperature 3D printers, such as those used by the Royal Netherlands Navy.
Another highlight of TechniShow 2024 is the focus on attracting and retaining talent. Various student teams will present their innovations, such as TU Delft Forze Hydrogen Racing with a hydrogen-powered race car and Project MARCH with a motorised exosuit for people with a spinal cord injury. There are also dedicated spaces for start-ups and scale-ups, such as Damen-IT (Digital Workmate) and Techpijler.
To make the most of exploring the exhibition floor, TechniShow 2024 offers themed guided tours on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, led by experts in the fields of Sheet Metal Working, Automation and Machining. Visitors are encouraged to register in advance for these tours via the Jaarbeurs Live app, which is available for download.
