Martin Teunissen, manufacturing manager at Moba, the world leader in egg grading machines, explains that the machine processes around 250,000 eggs per hour, from grading to packaging. He stresses the importance of a proper finish on the machines to prevent eggs from breaking.

Barneveld, known for its poultry farming and the town that gave its name to the Barnevelder chicken breed, is home to Moba's headquarters. The company started in 1947 as Mosterd Barneveld (MoBa) and has grown into a multinational with 800 employees. The Dutch Poultry Museum and the weekly egg market add to Barneveld's reputation as a center of poultry activity.

Teunissen explains that modern egg grading machines offer complete industrial solutions, with the latest model, the Omnia XF2, processing a quarter million eggs per hour. He highlights the efficiency, safety and hygiene of the processing procedures.

Moba's machines contain a great deal of stainless steel sheet metal, which is produced in their own manufacturing department. Teunissen praises the Timesavers 42 RB series, which perfectly matches their need for high-quality, non-directional sheet metal with minimal risk of injury to their customers.

Moba has a long-standing partnership with Timesavers, which has supplied machines to the company for more than twenty years. Together they have innovated to meet the ever-changing needs of customers, resulting in durable solutions such as the 42 RB series.

Harry van Beek, an experienced laser operator and team leader at Moba, praises the efficiency and reliability of the Timesavers 42 RB series, which ensures a consistent finish on laser-cut products. He emphasizes their durability and minimal maintenance requirements, resulting in smooth production with little need to contact the manufacturer.
