Bart Van Quickelberghe strengthens Q - Fin Handling Solutions: international ambition takes centre stage

Q - Fin is proud to announce its collaboration with Bart Van Quickelberghe, a heavyweight in industrial automation and business development. With more than 20 years of experience at Automotion, where he grew from technician to strategic (sales) manager, Bart is joining Q - Fin Handling Solutions. His mission: to accelerate Q - Fin's international growth plans and put the handling portfolio on the map worldwide.

"With Bart, we are not only gaining a wealth of knowledge, but also a network and vision that fit our ambitions perfectly," says Anton Bax, Managing Director of Q - Fin.

Bart himself is enthusiastic about his new challenge: "After 24 years at Automotion, it felt right to set a new course. The energy, innovative power and growth mindset at Q - Fin are contagious. I look forward to taking the handling division to the next level together with the team, with a focus on modular and scalable solutions, efficiency and international impact.  We don't build ordinary machines. We build the future."

Q-Fin is known for its high-quality machines for deburring, edge rounding and surface finishing. With its expansion towards smart handling solutions, the company is responding to the growing demand for automation within the metalworking industry. Examples include the Q-Fin Robot Cell, an advanced solution for automatically loading and unloading products using an industrial robot, and the Q-Bot, a flexible, collaborative cobot that can be easily deployed alongside various machines.

The real strength of these solutions lies in the Eye-Q vision system. This in-house developed camera system, built in collaboration with European market leaders in gripping, robotics and automation, automatically recognises the position and shape of products on the support surface. Eye-Q controls the cartesian robot at lightning speed to move each product precisely and safely to the right place in the correct orientation for a perfect finish. Thanks to this technology, companies can further automate their processes without compromising on precision or speed.

With the arrival of Bart Van Quickelberghe, this division gains a solid strategic boost towards further growth and international positioning.
