Who we are
TheIndustryNews.Online is a publication by Saris Media Groep B.V., a Dutch media company specialising in industry. The platform appears in four language editions — Dutch, German, English and French — for decision-makers, engineers and professionals across the manufacturing industry and its entire supply chain.

Why this platform exists
Our reason to exist is editorial, not technical: the manufacturing industry deserves one place where developments, technology and market knowledge come together clearly. We write for a real audience that also comes to us directly — not to capture search-engine traffic.
That means we choose topics because they matter to the sector, we add context and analysis rather than restating news, and we would rather publish one good article than ten shallow ones.
Our editorial process
- We rely on trustworthy sources and reference them where possible.
- We add our own interpretation: what does a development concretely mean for the manufacturing industry?
- We correct factual errors; report one and we update the article, noting any substantial change.
- We label commercial partnerships and sponsored content as such and keep them separate from editorial articles.
How and why we use AI
We use AI as a tool in our editorial process — mainly to speed up research, draft content and make articles consistently available in four languages. The latter would be impossible to do manually at the scale and speed the sector demands.
AI is never the final authority here. Every topic is chosen by people, every publication falls under the editorial responsibility of Saris Media Groep, and we do not publish content purely to win search-engine positions. We do not present AI as an author: responsibility lies with our editorial team.

Independence and reliability
We aim for accurate, honest and verifiable information. Where we give an assessment or opinion, we label it as such. Our independence is separate from the suppliers who register or receive requests through the platform.
