Lommel – In a year when many manufacturers lost market share, one player is growing faster than ever. Eduards Trailer Factory, a family business from Belgian Limburg, positioned itself in 2024 as the largest trailer producer in Europe. And that in a market which, according to industry figures, shrank by more than 12%.

With more than 23,000 trailers sold, 326 active dealers and a range of 10,000 possible configurations, Eduards Trailer Factory outperformed all its competitors – without large-scale advertising campaigns, without a stock market listing. Simply by producing smartly, delivering at lightning speed, and actually listening to the market.

“Our strength? Speed, customisation and a state-of-the-art factory that is genuinely built around variation,” says an employee in the assembly hall. “Every day we build exactly what the customer needs. No more, no less.”

New management in 2025: “We're now shifting up a gear”

From January 2025, new management will take the helm. With a clear mission: to further structure and expand the exponential growth of recent years. The focus lies on further professionalisation, rollout into new countries and strengthening the digital infrastructure.

What began as a local manufacturer has become a European player, serving customers through a fine-meshed dealer network in countries including Germany, the Netherlands, France and Scandinavia.

Smart production: customisation without the wait

In the high-tech factory in Lommel — 18,000 m² in size — trailers are assembled daily in dozens of variants. Thanks to a fully automated ordering system and flexible production lines, Eduard can deliver custom work at the speed of mass production.

Where competitors struggle with long lead times and limited models, Eduards Trailer Factory offers an online configurator where customers can build their own trailer, precisely tailored to their work. From landscapers to construction firms and vehicle transporters — every sector finds a solution here.

“Hook it up” — the future is connected

With the new slogan “Hook it up”, Eduard no longer positions itself as a traditional manufacturer, but as a partner to entrepreneurs. A clear change of course with a modern look, aimed at international expansion and brand experience.

“The market is changing, but we're changing faster,” says a spokesperson. “Where others slow down, we put our foot on the accelerator.”
